Mezzo-soprano Barbara Kozelj was born in Slovenia and studied voice and the teaching of music there at the Ljubljana Music Academy. She then studied voice at the Royal Conservatory of The Hague with Sasha Hunnego and has been a member of the ensemble of the New Opera Academy for the last two years, where she performed the role of Metella in Offenbach’s La Vie Parisienne and of Ruggiero in Handel’s Alcina. This season she is a member of the singers’ ensemble of Opera Studio Nederland. |
