Bastiaan Witsenburg was taught how to sing by David Wilson Johnson and Pierre Mak, among others. He's done master classes with Margreet Honing, Ann Murray, and Robert Lloyd. In February of 2009, he graduated from the Amsterdam School of the Arts and he's currently taking singing lessons with Andre Morsch. Bastiaan has sung solos in works by Buxtehude, Charpentier, Schubert and Liszt. He also performed arias in Bach's St. John's Passion and the High Mass. As a singer, he can be heard in works by e.g. Schumann, Schubert and Fauré. He's performed in operas by e.g. Puccini, Rossini and Mozart. Since 2009, Bastiaan has been a substitute in the Netherlands Radio Choir.
